I'll chime in, since I just got done working with that very Infinity sub today. Built a sealed box for it, about 1.4 cu ft. including displacement. It's powered by a Kicker ZX450.2 I'm impressed. It sounds really decent, and for a sealed sub, it hits pretty hard facing the hatch. Granted, it's not going to sounds like a $300 sub. But I've heard people have more expensive subs that sounds like **** and seem underpowered because they bought it at some big box store sold by morons that don't know crap. I wouldn't think twice about recommending these to a budget builder. The only thing that was irritating was they didn't come with mounting screwes and the wire terminals (don't know technical term) are slightly fragile. I don't think I've heard any "cheap" sub that sounds this nice. Perfect if you don't listen to Rap or the like.
