Which Subs?

I'm wondering which 12" subwoofers would make my 2001 chevy silverado 1500 bump, any suggustions?

well we need a little more info before we can tell you anything.

1 whats you budget

2 what are your goals

3 how much power/what amp are you wanting to run

4 how much space do you have to work with.

I don't have a budget ,was thiking of getting memphis shallow mounts and getting a new amp also and the subs are going under the back seat

again how much space do you have to work with, we need measurements so we can know what subs to suggest.

you might have a little difficulty fitting 2 12s under the back seat though, unless your raise it to give your self the airspace you need.

ok unless this is a limo and you have a massive bed for the back seat then there is now way in hell you have 19ftx8ft to work with

Just get a prefab sealed box made for your truck and use some subs that work well in sealed boxes...easiest way to do it.

Do you already have an amp? If so, what's the make/model?

He's not going to be able to get 1.5ft^3 for each sub.

Try it like this, assuming inches.

19.5" width x 8.5" height x ??.?" depth.

He also needs the measurement from the front of the seat to the rear wall of the cab.

The depth will tell him how tall of a sub you can use. The height will tell him the volume of the enclosure, so he can match the proper sub to it.

It would also help a bit to tell what kind of music you listen to. As well as what kind of sound you want. Nice clear punch or pounding loudness? In a lot of cases there are a whole lot better performing and sounding subs than are popular in your area. Since you said memphis most likely you are more interested in loudness than clarity.
