If you dont know about fusion they are an Australian subwoofer

and all the subs i mentioned have a 3 inch voice coil unlike the audioques

me being different would go with the fusions or adire but the other subs are great for their price range

I looked through all of your recommendations, and I did like the DC lvl 3's. The Sundowns and Fusion where not bad either.

I have to say on the last one it is on ebay from RobotUnderground.....I dont know. I read a 20+ page forum post about that guy (Patrick I think is his name) and it was not overly positive for his shop. Although I do live in Arizona and his shop is only 20min from me so I could go in there and check the shop out if I had doubts.

I wont rule his shop out until I see for myself, but the first impression isnt great.

u will have more cone with 2 15"s but the 1 18" lvl 4 ( get the lvl 5 coil option) can take like 1500 or get a bigger amp (2000-2500rms) and get 2 15" lvl 4s

I do not have the option of a new amp right now. I just bought this one...sigh. I under stand the cone area .. but the 18" can play lower right? So I guess what I do not understand is if 2 12s or 2 15's might push more air, but the 18" would do what?

can get a beefier single sub then 2 lower line subs, the 2 cheaper 15's will prob be louderas you will have more cone area

well.... ok. here is a side question, but related. When you say loud, are you meaning like SPL loud? I am not looking at being heard 2 miles away, moresoe when someone sits in my car there heart skips, lol. I want to feel it. right now with the JL 12's on the right bass note I can feel it a little, but its not much. That was why I thought 15's. but then it could be 4 12's, or 1 18.....ugh

2 15s are most economical with the power you have, i would jump on 2 ia 15's and they will sound great or dc level 3's, both are under 200 each new, your also going to want to dampin your car 2 keep the car as dense as possible to keep the sound in

you dont hear bass anyway, your ears can only hear down to about 30, hense when you free air a sub in the wide open you get nothing, you hear the box resinating, the car resinating, thats why a proper box and dampining of your car is so important

Yea I liked the DC level 3's, and also the Audio Q's. Ill have to put all of the ones rated at around 5-600 watts next to each other and see.

Another question tho....if I can burn a few more dollars. 4 12's or 2 15's? Not lookin for spl, but for in the car pain

well 4 12s will get louder but a lot more money and fed go with the dc level 3's 3 inch alum coil compared to 2.5 and a little beefier magnet
