I would go with the RL-p's, they have a high end SQ and decent spl depending on the application. In your case with the sealed setup they would have characteristics similar to what you're after. These subs are power hungry, so be sure that whatever amp you get that it can feed in the ball-park of 500wrms.

By todays standards, when throwing 2kw at a woofer isn't unusual; 500w is a relatively "low power" application.

Point taken, but I was speaking relatively regarding his specific application. It doesn't look like he is after a 2kw system.

i found a titanium for 279+shipping on ebay, how do these subs compare?hows their power handling capabilities?can they take more than their rated 750rms?i think ive read of people throwing 1000+ at 'em daily, is this true?thanks again for all the input.........
