Which Sub (i got 2 to choose from)

The HU: Clarion DXZ835MP: 4 volt pre amp out-put (not installed yet, in the mail)

The AMP: Pheonix Gold Octane-R 5.0:1

Specs:

Continuous Power Output:

150 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms

300 watts x 1 @ 2 ohms

Maximum Power Output:

250 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms

500 watts x 1 @ 2 ohms

I have 2 subs at home and I can't deceide which one to use. Which ever I chose will be built into a sealed box (takes up less room).

10" Orion XTR which is a DVC and handles 500w RMS, wired up for 2 ohm.

12" Orion Cobalt which is SVC and handels 200w RMS, wired as a 4 ohm.

IF not one of those subs, what sub would you suggest I look into. Sub expense less than $200, for the amp I have. PG Octane-R 5.0:1.

Arc KAR12,DA CM3, Alumapro MX,Kicker CompVR etc....

All depends on what your looking for, those are some good starter choices though.

Since you already have those subs I'de pick the 10" and have it underpowerd by 200 watts. Rather than a 12" with only 150 watts.

of the two, I would run the XTR, if not you could get a SoundSplinter RL-i 12" DVC4 for 169
