which sub for overall quality???????.....

What would you recommend; 4 1240's sealed given 300 watts each and 1.25 cu. ft. each, or 2 type-r's or other such subs ported and given theyre recommended power and aurspace. Tuning would be around 32-33. How would these two setups compare? Which would get louder? Which would sound better? Thanks

My vote is for Image Dynamics or Elemental Designs. ED is fairly new but like someone posted earlier their prices and warrantys are some of the best. I still haven't heard anything bad about them. They're super helpful and can even build a box for your setup. http://www.edesignaudio.com/us.php

Dude they're already cheap as hell and if you bought 'em from Ebay or whatever the warranty might be void. I mean seriously, how much can you ask? But you could probably wait a little while and they might start selling their stuff on ebay. They're a pretty new company so it might take awhile.

They are pretty cheap, but like i said im going for a 4 sub setup. 125 a piece would be 500 total and i dont have that much just for subs. But thanks for the suggestion.
