from my experience with subs good f*ckin subs are good f*ckin subs. lol.The only problem with those is I can't listen to them before I buy them.
When a ton of people, err rather educated people say sub x is a great sub then it is a good sub. If you're a tech guy look at some bl graphs of the tops subs out there and you will notice a lot of the internet brand subs are going to have very similar and often times better graphs than graphs f store name brands.
I've heard a brahma, a xxx, a w7, and an rl-p, and to be honest they all sound d*mn good. I dont even have a favorite among them. It might be the w7 if you have some awesome midbass up front or the brahma or the rl-p if you dont. Anyways, my point is a good sub will sound good to you. the rl-p, brahma, xxx, w7, and avalanche are all great subs. They'll all probably sound awesome to you. For the most part with subs, as long as it has low distortion, a strong motor and some good displacement you will be happy.
