which SQ sub to get

hey guys im gettin rid of my kicker l7 12 in a 3 cf box tuned to 34 hertz! id like to get 2 12s or 1 12 with good sq that still gets loud what ever i get ill be running it off my zx1000 puts out around 1150 watts. here are my choieces so far

- Diamond d6

- 2 re audio SE 12

- 1 sx 12

- possibly a jl w6

im open to any other options or suggestions i just dont know what to get! id like to spend around 300-400 on the subwoofer? and i can have a box around 35x15x15 if that helps at all! i mainly llisten to rap, country and rock.

Thought about TC Sounds? Some of those RL-Ps or TC-9s floating around...

i personally like the re se pair.. has some potential there.. or the sx.. either way, the RE setup sounds like a winner to me...

of those... only the W6 is remotely a SQ woofer... not that they sound bad... but they wouldn't be considered Sound Q subs... maybe Focal or DLS or Rainbow or Zapco etc... etc...

I would suggest an iDmax.

w6v2 are also nice.

or if you can get those two SEs in your budget, they would do swell and slam when you want them to.

1150 watts RMS is more than enough for the 12w6's, maybe a bit too much. They are rated at 400w RMS a piece. The 13w6 is rated at 500w RMS. Probably better for two of them.

plus the added surface area greater excursion will push way more air than the two 12's.

ya thats what i was thinking thier just so god **** expensive... lol! im torn i dont know what to do because i want good SQ which the W6 have easily but theyre epensive and on the other hand the SE are alot cheaper but not sure how SPL/ And SQ is on them

You can do one of two things:

1.) Be patient and save, save, save

2.) Go with what your budget allows.

The SE's should be a good choice also, and if it's what you can afford now go right ahead. I can't comment on specifics as I've never actually heard them, just read up on them.
