Which size wire ?

Just built my new enclosure & will be running the speaker wire into it in the next day or two. The speaker wire i've got is 14 maybe 16 gauge but I also have some 8 gauge power cable in my tool box & wondered what I would be better off using as the amp is only 250w RMS & the sub is an old JBL GT3 10"

Id just use the 14 gauge. Shouldn't have any problems with that

but i'd replace it when you get the chance with some 12 or 10

nothing lower than 12.... the 14 should give you zero problems. Just try to keep it as short as possible.

Cheers guy's for the advise, the cable is about 24" long from the amp to the sub
