170 is probably good up to 2000-2500. Most of the power comes from the batteries anyway, you'll want to upgrade your battery situation too. Another C&D in the front would probably due...

Meh, you'll probably be good with just one, but it couldn't hurt...there's a guy selling them on here for like 130 shipped, that's not bad at all...

i recently received my c&d tech ups-12 475 for 130 local!

but 130 shipped, that's just as good!

i'll look into it, i know it'd really help on the install, but my budget is tighter than a virgin's azzhole. :\

maybe in a couple months, i'll upgrade my front batt.

A ho alt and the C&D will be more than enough for what your running. I'm willing to bet your voltage wouldn't even flinch. And the guys who's selling the other batts, they are the smaller ones than what you got.

Not to mention, a C&D wouldn't even fit in the front of a civic, lol.

anyone ever did an alt install in their civic? anyone know if its difficult / time consuming?
