Which shallow mount for 85 chevy?

First off I want to say I used the search button and got all different kinds of reviews and mostly they were old so I want some up to date info //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I want one 12" sub or maybe 2 but I don't want to spend more than 400 dollars on the sub and amp ( gonna build own box ) I read this sub "Stereo Integrity BM" was gonna be really good but have they came out yet? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

re was sopost to come out with a shallow mount... idk if they ever release though... check into pioneer, and if u want 1 jl tl 12" it costs about 499$ but from what ive read the thing is slick

right now in my 90 chevy i am running 2 kicker Comp vt subs. They have plenty off output for me but i might be stepping up to four just for the heck of it.

i think i only payed like 200 for both my subs as well.

I forgot to mention with my seats all the way back I got about 7.5 inches of space at the bottom. about 57" width and a lil over 20" height Thanks for the replys so far and I could use some ideas on amps also. Crodsky what kind of box you got did you buy or make it? Keep the comments coming Peace

You can fit a regular sub and not one of those shallow mounts. You should have at least 6" internal.

Elemental Designs has a shallow mount 10. I also heard that Digital Designs will be selling a shallow mount sub soon.

The MB is probably going to be the best SQ, kicker's have some punch but they tend to want to be in the largest recommended box....

your amp will dictate which sub you buy. 2 8 ohm subs will wire down to 4 ohms. 2 4 ohm subs will wire down to 2 ohms. it's just for wiring options. it's the same sub otherwise.
