Decided to grab 2 of these to throw behind the seat of my single cab 07 F350 PSD. What would be an ideal box size/design for them? Ive heard that sub forward driver side port side firing passenger side tends to be loudest in these trucks. And this is a dumb question but DD reccommends 1 cuft and 15-16 sq in of port for the 1508. I take it I would double that for two...? Would the port length be doubled as well?

Okay so would that be total box volume, or accounting for sub and port displacement i.e. a 2 cube box minus displacements?

a little less than 2 cu ft...probably around 1.9

Awesome thanks for the quick help. Ill have to see exactly what the dimensions are behind the seat or if I need to click it up some. Dont have the tools to build a slanted box where I am currently, just something square with a table saw. Would it matter if the box was quite long and skinny? Or should I try to have everything as close as possible? That probably sounds dumb but Im just concerned about airflow ect.

I wouldnt pay any attention to this guy....he doesnt know much about DD, I dont think he has even experienced with their equipment
