Old versions were pretty loud, great SPL subs for the price. Only heard the new ones in Neill's Blazer, but they were doing great numbers (160+ music).

24 SPLX 12s would be nasty. In even a halfway decent box with some 1k each you should be touching a 160 without much problem.
