which setup will get louder?

generally speaking, with the same amp and power, which do u guys think will get louder, one 10 inch rockford fosgate T2 or 2 12 inch eclipse aluminums?

common sense.. more speakers = more air getting moved.. the eclipses will get louder

i have 1000 watts to work with, and the box i was going to build after i got the subs. I ask because my money us fairly tight, and i could save bout 100$ by buying the T2. Im asking because ive just heard the the T2 is a monster SPL sub, and the aluminums are more SQL

The Eclipses should get louder then the Fosgate for most daily setups.

In more complex terms, the cone area of the eclipse, along with their decent excursion has the ability to move more air than a ten inch T2, despite the fact that it has longer excursion.
What kind of power are we talkin here? Sealed? Ported? A T2 in a nice ported box could possibly get louder than the eclipses if they were underpowered in a tiny box. There are lots of variables.

really? so what do u think i'll hit with a T210d2? I actually have one and built a rockford "powerful" encloure for it. I believe it to be 2"^3 @ 35hz, but i still like my 12" RL-p more
