Which set-up would sound better/louder

If you had to choose one or the other, which would it be..

Alpine PDX 1000.1 + (1) 10" Alpine type X sub

or

Alpine PDX 600.1 + (1) 10" JL W7

what do you think?

a w7 can get louder than a type x, but you wanna put 1000w to the x or 600w to the w7 so i dunno which would get louder, but what i do know is i wouldn't waste my time with 1 10 for the sub part of my system

I've got a 2008 tahoe...

I plan on adding a Kinetics battery but not changing the alternator..

Would a 1000 watt pdx & a 4 channel 400 watt amp give me voltage issues?

those SUV has some decent sized alt. If you go with the PDX then i'm sure you can probably get away with it since they're pretty efficient. Do the big3 also and you would probably be good.
