I need all opinions. I am planning on getting a nice system but keeping money in mind. So for subs should I get:

3 JL W0 10 inch

2 or 3 JL W0 12 inch

1 or 2 JL W3 10 or 12 inch

(how much better is a 12 inch W0 to a 12 inch W3?)

I would be putting them in a sealed box and only really want to thump without spending over a grand for the HU, Amp, and subs combined.

i would suggest 2 12w3's not that the wo's are bad ...and a memphis 500d with a pioneer 6400 (lots to choose from but it has sub out i do believe)

If you are definately stuck on JL I would go with 2 12" W3's if you consider other brands we can talk. HU panasonic sony pioneer you cant go wrong really with any of those oh and ALPINE. Amp I would have to say depends on budget but a JL 500.1 could do the 2 W3's in my opinion. But i would go with maybe planet audio I love thier amps!

jrmax I am not stuck on JL its really just one of the only great brands I have heard. I just have looked at other brands and the subs need a lot more power so that entails a more expensive amp. If u have other suggestion please pass them on! Thx a bunch guys!

I was just looking around at the amps and the JL 500.1 is 400 DOLLARS! I know it is a great amp for the 2 W3's but if there's a cheaper good one I would go with it. If there is not then I may have to go with the W0's because they dont need as much power. How much less bass do they produce (a lot less excursion?)? Thx a lot for ur responses!

i'd suggest ALPINE MRV-T757(4ohm stable), they cost $299 at http://www.onlinecarstereo.com ....... i think it can drive your JLw3 just fine..(i think, consult others too, if u plan to get this one)

check it out...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
