Which PIONEER PREMIER?

I've been looking through the internet for a while now for a HU. I have about $300 to spend and looking for something with really good SQ. I see people like 880PRS, 780MP, etc. What do you guys recommend?

P.S. My last unit was a Alpine 9813 so looking to upgrade from that since I'll be doing a active setup in front now. Need something that has a good crossover, maybe somethign close to Eclipse units. I've never tried Premiers before so please make this a good experience for me. Thanx.

Im gonna have to go with the 780mp. Thats probably because i have one though. Peole will tell you that the 880prs has better SQ. In reality you are gonna have a really hard time hearing the difference. Both h/u's have a 16 band EQ except the 880 has a 16 band EQ for the right side and the left side of the car seprately. I cant see why having different sound on one side of your car would sound better. The 880 also has auto time alignment. You can do the same time alignment with the 780 but its done manually. I think you might as well go with whatever you think looks best. In my case i always have different people riding in my car with me. So the color screen and all the extra little things you can do with the display like changing the font color, adding photos and videos from your computer in high quality really seem to impress people especially the ladies who usually dont know sh1t about car audio anyways. Go with the one you think looks nicer.

you might look at the p860mp.. it has some of the higher end features like the 880 \but has the color screen too..
