i cant get my head set one just one of them...they will both be powered by a pa a2400db.
i agree for the price and performance ratio type r's all the way...and i guarantee the type r's can hang with the SS's.Id go for the Type R's just cuz theyd be considerabally cheaper, and I'll bet theyll put out great performance\
The Type R's are some beasts for the price. But, I would still go with the RL-P's, simply because Sound Splinter makes killer subs, and they are not over priced at all... If you are on a budget, get the Type R's, if not then go for the RL-P's. You really are comparing two completely different subs here, they arent really in the same class here.not to fond of the type r's, haven't heard them but skeptical on all the hype, one day someone posts that a guy hit a 150 with one and all of a sudden everyone wants one, I have a rl-p and it sounds great and pumps out good bass as well, I voted for the rl-ps cuz I think overall they are probably better quality woofers and perform well in variety of enclosures and can take a good beating and still maintain
yeah, I am not hating on the type r's, I'm sure they can provide one hell of a bang for the buck, but I am just sick of all the hype on them, I agree that if you are on a budget and just want to hear boom boom then the type r's are for you, but as said these subs aren't really comparable, and personally I think that the rl-p would shine on the type r in overall quality, man I really need to hear some of these type r's in a high end install to see what's upThe Type R's are some beasts for the price.
