Which one of these ways to wire is correct? Or are they both okay?

Either will result in a one ohm load.

I use the top wiring, only because i like using distro-blocks on the inside of the enclosure. Most subs now a days come with 10ga direct leads, so I just run quad 10ga to single 8ga distro.

It's not going to matter much as long as you feed the posts I installed with a nice 8ga from the amp....those runs in the enclosure are going to be pretty short..

I was going to run dual 10 gauge from the amp and utilize the two + and - outputs front the amp

i did tl testing on using 8 gauge ofc, compared to using 14 gauge ofc speaker wire from menards, and gained absolutely nothing on the TL. it was only 3k power but I expected something. I dont see the need unless you are running like a 10k system.

okay. the kit I just got from audio tech nix has 25 ft of ofc 12 gauge. I will swap it out then do dual runs from the amp
