i have no idea about the new re stuff.... but the specs look good, the brutus i'm familiar with and it does about 80% rated... try searching more info on that re... bench tests...

between the 2, the RE "claims" be stronger via the specs. but honestly i would go with the hifonics. i would probly look into some other options, you can probly get a better amp for the same money.... but whats your budget i may be able to asisst on finding a better amp.

If your budget is really 200 bucks you can get a wayyyyy better amp on here for that!!!!

↑ Very good point. I'm not saying not to buy from an online retailer but if you do, do your due diligence and buy from a seller who has an outstanding customer service record.
