Which Non Comp Speakers?

I need good SQ speakers for my 03 Chevy Malibu. I do not want comp speakers. I need 4x6 in front and 6x9 in rear. Some may remember me as on a quest to find the right sub for me, but I installed my HU today and decided it sound pretty good even with the factory speakers. I am just looking to add some more SQ and a bit more all around punch. I would like to stay as cheap as possible without sacraficing SQ. So let's say $200 is the budget for front and rear. would you consider making templets to fit 5.25/6.5's in the 4x6 slot???

then get whatever. they will all sound about the same. honestly, theres no huge difference in build quality of the lowest end speakers that companies sell.

go into circuit city or best buy, all the speakers are roughly the same price, they are roughly the same quality.

by sticking with the stock size and not doing 6.5 you totally limit yourself to how much of a gain youll see....as req said just go to circuit city and buy what you like...infinity, pioneer, alpine...they all sound the same for the lower lines...

No, not really. While the physics that makes this law somewhat true may be a bit unfouded, few manufacturers make a high end non circle set, they assume anyone that wants nicer speakers will go the extra mile to get a circular one, becuase they do have better SQ (all things equal)
