Which is the better MTX SQ sub?

I have been trying to piece together my system for the install in my Dodge Magnum. I really like the MTX line of subs and amps.

I was totally decided on (2) MTX 9512-44 subs and a mtx 81001 amp giving those subs about 750rms a piece, well, i got to thinking, do i really need that much? I dont compete, daily driver who has a long commute and enjoy excellent SQ in my car for listening to literally everything (rap, rock, country, classic, etc.), so I am now considering the MTX 8512-44's which are a step down but still a pretty solid sub.

what is your experience with either one or both of these subs? I know many of u have a love or hate feeling towards certain brands but the reason why i chose MTX is because i plan to go with all MTX products(subs/amps/components) I just prefer to go all one brand rather than use several different brand components, i like the look better cuz i want it look nice as well.

Thanks for the input guys!

the 8500 have the better SQ out out of the 75-9500 subs. the 9500 is kinda a SQL type of driver while the 8500 has more SQ, then it does SPL. my 7500 hit very clean and acurate in a 3 cu ft sealed box. most quality subs will have good sound quality in a great install. a sealed box(sealed OR ported) and amps set up right

ok.....thanks....good info!

whats a good box size for two 8512's ?? i like the sound of sealed better since im used to it, MTX recommends 1.25cubes per sub but what is the best size for all types of music? plus should i go chambered or non-chambered box?

no one has any input to offer on these subs??? man....yall must really hate MTX hehehe

kicker gets more credit around these parts than mtx //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I really don't think to put 9500s and SQ in the same sentance. 9500s will get **** loud, but I'm not a fan of the sound. Haven't heard 8500s, only 5500s and 9500s...but MTX is not the brand to look at when you want SQ IMO:crap:
