whats harder on electrical higher or lower ohm loads? which would be better for weaker electrical 2400w at 2 ohms or 2400w at .5 ohms? or would it be the same as its 2400w?
I've got a Kicker ZX1500, PM if you're interested.yeah i kinda knew that but wanted to double check!!! lol i need 2 ohm power!!!!!!!!
don't know if that will push my sub, i think thats about what my amp now does at 2Ω see sig...I've got a Kicker ZX1500, PM if you're interested.
I gotcha, just figured I'd offer up. Did you buy a sub with wrong coils, or what?don't know if that will push my sub, i think thats about what my amp now does at 2Ω see sig...
i couldn't pass up the deal on the sub... amp i know is .5Ω stable all day, but don't know if my elec. is up to par... i have all skyhigh 0ga, and big 3, and mechman 240amp alt... but no extra batts....I gotcha, just figured I'd offer up. Did you buy a sub with wrong coils, or what?
won't two amps draw more than one bigger one?Why don't you just strap 2 amps? Seems like that would be your best bet imo.
Because having 2 amps seeing 1 ohm would help efficiency? Why don't you just strap 2 amps? Seems like that would be your best bet imo.
Not disagreeing with you here, but could you then explain why it takes such a beefy electrical system to operate an amplifier at half an ohm? I'd run my amp at .5 (it is capable with the proper setup), but I've been warned too many times to even attempt it.Man you guys should really do a little research before informing someone.... .5Ω/2Ω, will draw the same amount of amperage if the power is the same. Look up Ohm's law and read about it. Apply it to all questions about electrical/ ohm load.
