Which is better 2x10' or 1x12' sub???

it can take more then the 800 rms. u can run 1000 to it. there upgrades u can get as well. if your looking to go big i say get to of them tune the box to 32 hz get a amp that does 2000rms and see where your at in volts. but its a big step from what u got and will run u around 700 for subs and amp then u will need a box..

only thing if u run the dual 1 ohm your gona end up wiring it down to .5 ohms and its up to u if u wana run the amp at that wich means the amp will run at below 1 ohm so what ever mono amp u get it would run at max rating. and if u get the dual 2 ohm sub u can run it at 1 ohm and send the max from what ever mono amp u get and not have to worry about running the amp under 1 ohm . so 1000 rms at one ohm to the dual 2 fi ssds wired parallel should give u a 1 ohm load

Tell us budget, what you mainly listen to if you want loud or quality or a mixture (a mix will not be as loud or as good of quality normally).
Also, perfect is an ok sub but I think for the price we can point you to something better.

PS...that gif made me LOL
I think the perfects are a great sub.

If we are comparing identical sub models, two of the 10" version would easily out perform a single 12 (of the same sub). Twice the number of coils to absorb the power, which is especially helpful in a vented application. And the dual 10's would have more cone area than the single 12. The dual 10's would display less distortion than the single 12 at any given output level, and would have greater potential for maximum output.

The down side is dual 10's would cost more, obviously.

dont ever shop best buy ever lol they want 150 for a single type E. when i had my old alpine type e's i paid like 60 a peace 4 em off of ebay. Im a diamond audio fan. you should try something like a diamond d6 or a d9 12" i wouldnt try a d3 if you are running lots of power but anything d3 or above in diamond a really good sq subs. and also take a look at the orion hp subs they pack a puch as well.
