Which is a better setup for SPL?

All I had with my P3s and amp was just a regular setup...nothing special done just wired the amp up and speakers and ran through battery cable or whatever and did the ground wire..just a standard setup.

If you actually have the room to do two 15" sdc's, for sure go that route. However, I highly doubt you have that kind of space (they'd need around 8cubes/net.)

And yes, do the big 3. It's so easy and cheap for the benefits you get from it...

Im going too..only problem is that I dont have the money to replace my battery

It means build your own enclosure rather the buy prefab garbage that is out there. Type R's produce decent sound in a ported enclosure built to spec (info is on Alpine's website).

i disagree. IMO alpines specs are to small(1.75 per sub). my buddy has his 2 12's in a 5 cuft box tuned to 32 it sounds good an gets loud. even my 4 cuft box gets em loud an soundin pretty good. an i've seen em in 1.75 i dont think they perform near there potential.
