2 Alpine Type R's 12" hooked up to an AQ1200D or 2 SD2.5 15" hooked up to an AQ1200D?

reason im asking is im not too sure if the SD's even though they are 15s would be more powerful than 2 type R's

I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu..its a pretty decent size trunk..I can let the seats down and all that too..I dont have exact measurements.

whats the difference between a 2 ohm and a 4 ohm? which one should I buy out of the Type R's?

It has to do with how much power the subs get from the amp. That's not all but if you get 2 subs and the AQ 1200D you want to get D4 subs.

I'm assuming you just want a loud daily driver. Either sub will get respectably loud in a daily install. I personally don't like the sound of the R's and would do the SDC's.

If you have more $$$ then get 2 12" HDC's and a 3500 from AQ since they're on sale right now.

yeah only problem is i dont have the kind of money for 2 HDCs or even one really..I want two 12s so..I just want something louder than what I used to have which was 2 12" p3s and 3500w boss audio amp.

Yap. It'll wire down to 1 ohm.

Yeah im still learning about the wiring it down to 1 ohm thing..not quite sure how to do that yet..and im learning how do to the big 3...do I really need that for my kind of setup?(2 Type R 12s, AQ1200D)?
