Which HU's play from memory?

Yea, thats a good idea to save form CD's n ****, Just like an ipod basically.
No, not my goal. USAC makes you use the CD. There ARE decks available now w/internal HD's and/or SD/memory stick playback. Omnifi is a 20g wi-fi enabled unit that's got my daily driving interests:naughty:

I think it depends what country you`re in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.Most people say that sony cdx 3350 doesnt skip.

Well, in 3 to 4cm ( |_____________|) deep holes in the asphalt it does skip.

Nearly all HU's have built in memory for preventing skipping. Even the OEM decks we produce have memory built in. As for Hard Drives, they are more prone to skipping than a cd deck. The Hard drive is also more prone to failure from excess vibrations. If you want to ensure your deck won't skip, the best bet is a good install. First, ensure you have the rear support screw in the deck and making contact with the car frame. If possible, strap the HU down. Third, your HU operates better at a slight tilt. Normaly 5-10 degrees. Unfortunately, this is not always possible due to the dash.
Are you directing this towards MP3 players also or only the in dash hard drive H/u's? I use a MP3 player daily with my setup and would not wanna sacrifice another 300 dollars on another one because of my system. Please elaborate for me a little.
