Which electrical upgrade would affect SPL?

Which should I get in order to increase how loud my subs get?

The yellow top battery or the H.O. Alt?

Im running the stock alt for a 95 chevy k1500 so would a ho alt increase how loud my subs would get?

well you might get more voltage output if you upgraded your electrical system, but you would need to tun your gains back down to keep them at the point you were before the upgrade.

Neither will really make a real difference to the ear.You're talking 10th's of a db on the mic.

And if you compete with the car off, the alt. won't help you.
