Which do you think would be better?

What do you guys would sound better and get louder in my camaro, the 12w6v2 i have now or an alpine type-r? I have heard nothing but good things about the new type-r's and was wondering what you guys think. I could even get two type-r's for the price of my 12w6v2, what are your opinions about it?And i'm a little more interested in spl than sq, say 60-40

Hes already got one w6 anyways, so why switch. You wouldnt gain any sound q by switching subs. Just get another w6

i would take the type r's, though you wont gain any sq by switching you will gain alot of output from the new r's. they get reall loud lol

Keep what you have, when I had my single 12 setup in my 94 Z it was extremely loud and sounded great. If you want to get more hearing damage get the Alpines. But the W6V2 is no slouch of a sub and I bet in your hatch it is one helluva sub.
