I have an RE SE 15 now @ 650 RMS/2 ohm on a Tsunami DB1100.
I want to get my amp to 1 ohm, however... I'm really wanting to downgrade to a pair of 12s or a single 12. Due to the clearance of my rear deck, I even had a ton of trouble getting this single 15 inch sub to rearfire with adequate box space.
Regardless of what I get, I'd like to go with a sealed enclosure. But I'm not sure what to look at.
Some folks have suggested a pair of Type R 12s, others suggested a single 12 inch SX... etc, etc, etc, etcccccc.....
But I don't know what all is out there, I haven't been sub shopping for 2 years, and it seems within a matter of a month things can change as far as what new companies are out there.
What do you folks suggest? Must be able to see a final load of 1 ohm @ 1,100 RMS. Looking for 12s, whether it's a pair or single, as long as it handles the power.
Looking for suggestions on different price ranges.
