I love my G35s CVT auto

I can floor it and not even feel the shifts

And if I want I can put it in tiptronic and control it myself

honestly the auto preforms way better than the tiptronic

btw auto does not = lazy

auto = busy with phone calls/ you dont want clients seeing you shift

Ive driven plenty of manuals and its a pain in any kind of stop and go

The MPG is no longer true, some autos get better milage in the same car

Also with a manual its easier to use more gas if you dont know how/when to shift

I love the double post when you proved you're a retard in the first 2 sentences.
Of course you don't feel the shifts ... It's a CVT tranmission, so it CANNOT shift ...

Busy with phone calls ? Uh, wireless headset if you're that baller to be talking on the phone 24/7 ...

Don't want clients seeing you shift ? Why the fvck would that make a difference to your client ?

You've driven plenty of manuals and it's a pain and you get worse fuel economy if you don't know how to shift ... Reading between the lines, it comes out to, "I **** at driving, so I use a 'CVT auto' //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif to make up for my own personal shortcomings."

Yeah ... Everyone goes a constant 48 miles per hour on the highway and accelerates using no more than 5% throttle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Of course, "favourable facts" can prove any "point" ... Too bad anyone with half a brain knows it's a desperate attempt to try to justify your own personal agenda ...

Used to be all about the manual, but once in awhile would like to have an auto.

Just depends. 90% of the vehichles I have had, have been manual though. I guess I am getting old!

My current car is stick. Is fun little car, but miss the auto as of late.........don't really know why, which is why I blame it on the age factor.......and I am not even that old yet!

This is just dumb.

First of all, you shouldn't be talking while driving anyway. And if you do, I'm sure your "clients" will understand that you have to shift. I'm pretty sure no one's gunna flip out 'cause you're like, "excuse me, I'm driving a manual car. So, I might have to kind of put down the phone when I shift."

Second: no matter what, a manual can get better mpg than an auto. The set shift charts are good, but each situation causes for different loads. You have to remember, that high RPM doesn't always mean you're using more gas. It's a complex function between how open the air intake throttle is and the load in which you're putting it under.

As for manual using more gas: you can if you're an idiot. I always shift at 1.5K when I drive manual cars... I don't know any automatic that shifts at 1.5K.

As for me, I like the control of a manual car. It's also a lot better at red lights. You can hit it out of gear and you don't have to worry about the break if you're on a flat surface (But I live in Miami, ever surface is flat).

Not to mention there's nothing better than down shifting and just jetting.

Are you a baller with interchangeability from auto to manual in your car?
Haha wow interchangeability is actually a word. You learn something new everyday.
two vehicles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif and actually some vehicles do have that ability
