Better gas mileage and performance is a plus too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
I like driving a manual. I prefer an automatic these days however, for a few reasons.
1) It's a BITCH trying to eat fast food and drive a stick.
2) Lotsa stop and go traffic = //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
3) If some ******* is barreling down on me from behind at a stop sign or red light(lotsa semi's out here) I don't want to spend that one second figuring out what gear I am in or what to slam it into. I just want to hit the gas and move. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
As of now I prefer Auto, I don't have a sports car or anything that needs the added performance of the manual, plus in the snow and ice I think auto is easier. If I ever get a performance car, it will definitely be a manual.
I own alot of manual vehicles/equipment. I hate shifting a tractor or dozer all day, so an auto in my Explorer is nice and convenient. The 5-speed in my 240 is perfect though.
