Which do you prefer to drive and why: Automatic or Manual?

auto.. more time to adjust HU volume instead of having to worry about shifting.

Sometimes you have to mess with the radio, or grab your wife's tit.

Automatic. Only manual I have ever driven was a work cart at a golf course I worked at.

i like driving auto better just because its less to worry about when driving.

I do enjoy driving my girlfriends jetta VR6 though. Impressively quick for being stock.

I like driving a manual. I prefer an automatic these days however, for a few reasons.

1) It's a BITCH trying to eat fast food and drive a stick.

3) If some ******* is barreling down on me from behind at a stop sign or red light(lotsa semi's out here) I don't want to spend that one second figuring out what gear I am in or what to slam it into. The manual is infinitely more fun however.

I prefer a manual, but I have to drive an auto because of an auto accident I was in 10 years ago that messed up the nerves in my left leg.

Auto. My last manual was a 5 speed Z-28, 5th gear scratches are fun and all but f that shifting 350 times just to get to 7-11 and back.

My new car has both though. I never use the manual on it though.

As of now I prefer Auto, I don't have a sports car or anything that needs the added performance of the manual, plus in the snow and ice I think auto is easier. If I ever get a performance car, it will definitely be a manual.

depends on the car, little 4 banger no. but a sports car yes.

my old 4 banger m3 was a standard and it was fast

I own alot of manual vehicles/equipment. I hate shifting a tractor or dozer all day, so an auto in my Explorer is nice and convenient. The 5-speed in my 240 is perfect though.
