Which do you prefer to drive and why: Automatic or Manual?

ide rather have a manual in snow and ice .you start sliding all you have to do is go a gear higher and let off the gas a little and it will pull its self right out of a skid . you have more control in bad weather with a manual then a auto

Really it all depends. I prefer manual for the most part in a DD. For drag though a proper auto is win. Also if a woman drives the car the nauto. I just like gripping the stick big boy.

I had a mecanic i like a lot but is PITA in traffic jam, but gives you the freedom of take youor car to the limits and improve millage but not good for dates.

Now i have an automatic is really nice to drive without thinking about anything but the road, but i miss the responsive of my mecanic.

But step-tronic is the best thing, my dad has a CX-9 an that is a really nice to drive car, when on a date i go automatic when i drive alone or in highway you take the control.

An automatic because I do so much in my car and realize that I couldn't drive a manual in traffic and do everything else at the same time.

I Know there's people on here who will disagree and say they can do like 5 things and shift (such as "poast, drift, txt, and eat while shift") but for the most part I'm just lazy about it.

There's times I wish I had a manual, but I enjoy just putting it in drive and going.

No doubt. I've actually drivin my friends honda in his yard (lives in the country) drunk as hell and I drove it better than I do sober. Idk how that worked.

i have both.

some days i drive a 10 speed use to drive 18 speed also drive a 8 speed some days(all semi's if you didn't know)
