Which Direction Should I Face My Sub?

I bought a sub recently and its on its way. I'm using a single enclosure in the back of a 1.5 cab length truck (so basically JUST enough room for the sub to sit on the seat back there). The box is tilted on the back side.

I didn't know if I should face it towards me or towards the side or fire it against the wall (RIGHT against the wall) in order to get the best results.

I have a 1996 Tacoma XtraCab.

Against the wall will sound better..IMO..Its best if you have 4-6in away from though

There's no way it will be able to get that space away from it..

IMO, try all of the ways you have avaliable and see which one you like the best. Sounds like your just going for your own personal sound quality (as do I) and not competitions of any kind, so acoustical mechanics aren't that important
