they are easy to get loud...wiring is easy...a double DIN fits....and you can get it in 4wd....

The Escape is pretty much Mazda made so pretty reliable...

You might can find a good deal on a Honda Element...I always sorta liked the way the first gens looked...with the composite fenders...i'm pretty sure i could get one of those in the 150's with ease for a nice daily setup...

yeah and some are AWD as well....I always sorta wanted to do something with one...but I have one to many vehicles right now for another project...
