Which Budget Subs?

Purchasing 2 12's. Want a loud, musical daily setup.

Amp will be Audiopipe AP15001D or Audiopipe APSM 1500... seems to be the best I can do in my budget, which is pretty much 175.00 or so MAX.

Sundown SA's or American Bass XFLs? Something else?

Budget is pretty set in stone at 200.00 a sub.

I wouldn't really call $200 a sub "budget" but I guess its all perspective //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. Definitely can get some half way decent subs at that price, personally I wouldnt go with that amp if your doing something more musical.

So it sounds like you've got 575 or so. I'd throw 250 at a decent amp and get some 100 dollar subs and a custom box for another 125-150. 2 $100 subs with a nice amp, decent electrical and a good box will beat 2 $200 subs and a prefab box with a cheap amp... Just my opinion but an amp isn't the place to cheap out.

You should look into craigslist for an amp.... you can get some pretty sick amps for 175 used. But yea... It's gonna be hard to find a quality new amp on a 175 budget that would push 1200+

as for subs you can look into c2 audio or imperium audio designs the iads look real mice not 100% american made but alot of parts are there 209 per 12 and you can get i think its 5 colors for your cone black white red blue yellow
