Which Box

I was trying to decide on which box to use out of the choices that Moe Lester has posted. Thanks. I am unable to read them correctly. I have two 12'' punch stage 1's. The outside diameter can be 35.5x 15 and it will fit very tight in a 1999 Intrepid. Here are the specs for the subs. 12" 4-ohm subwoofer

frequency response: 20-200 Hz

power range: 50-150 watts RMS

peak power handling: 300 watts

sensitivity: 86 dB

top-mount depth: 5-3/8"

sealed box volume: 1.25 cubic feet

ported box volume: 1.75 cubic feet

what are you looking to get out of them...sq, spl, mix?? also what power are you putting to them?
what does RF recommend?
I am looking for SQ out of them, I have Pioneer 380 HU and Crystal 6.5 in the front and the matching 6x9 in the back. The RMS is 100 and 90. No amp as of yet. Looking for one amp that can run everything hopefully for around $150. The sealed box sizes recommended by Rockford Fosgate range from 0.85 cu/ft to 1.5 cu/ft. Within this range, the ideal size recommended by Rockford Fosgate is 1.25 cu/ft. The RMS for the sub is 50-150 per Rockford. By the way is it possible to mess up the speakers I have now by not putting enough power to them? Thanks for your reply...

Magnet Diameter: 7.064"

Depth as top: 5.667"

don't worry about under powering them. since they are low wattage subs, i would do the largest recommended size....maybe even a little bigger. if the power your going to give them is more than teh rms, then do the 1.25. if it a lot more make the box smaller, if it is less ( liek 50w) then make the box liek 2cu'.

bottom line: more power less box, less power more box.

Just a friendly tip, make sure you can get the box INTO the trunk. I don't know where you took your measurements, but I have heard of people building them to fit inside the trunk, but are not able to get them throught the trunk opening.

Thanks, Trixter and Mikeyboc, so I can just pick any box that has room for two subs on the list that Moe Lester has posted... This will be my first attempt at box building and amp installation.
