10 inch sealed enclosure.

I need to find somewhere that sells really wide, skinny 10" enclosure, out of atleast 3/4 inch MDF.

My plan is to lay the enclosure up against the rear seats to take up minimum room (be able to stack it, etc.), and it's not important the shape of the box, just the volume, right?

Worst comes to worse, I'll turn a sheet of 3/4 MDF into a thin rectangular air containment device.

no the shape of a sealed box isn't very important in most cases, just as long as the volume is roughly what it needs to be and also the sub has the proper depth it needs to fit in the box it will work just fine.

3/4 mdf? wtf? do you have any idea how big that stuff is... its kinda overkill for a 10 box. i think 1/2 or 5/8 would be more than enough.

3/4" MDF is perfect for a 10" sub enclosure

i use 3/4" for everything.

your best off making your own air containment device since most bought may not be to the corrects spec....unless you have someone build it for you with your provided specs....then you have shipping.
