Which Bike to Go With??

Yes I have heard all that before. I learned that if someone wants to do something, they are going to do it. I won't sit here and spill to show you the right way to get into this sport, a sport a consider MY sport.

Just take the advice from more experienced, and take the advice me and jebus have given you.

If not then good luck
I definately appreciate the advice you guys are giving me. Im gonna look around and see if i cant find something in good condition to drive around at least for a while. Thanks for the advice.

and manny your sig scares the hell out of me lol.

they are called SPORTbikes...

and you don't need to start on the baddest bike in town. just get a cheap beater, and ride that for a year. you can probably sell it for what you paid.

didn't realize he said 1st bike... i don't like reading //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Its the first bike i will have personally owned. One of my friends has a cbr600 (like an 04) and i rode it pretty much every other day last summer. Just couldnt afford my own so i mooched off him hah...but still might go with the beater bike to start. We will see and i will post pics when i get it.

Ever thought of riding in the dirt for a few months? You can get a 250 2 stroke for about 2K, ride it 10-15 times to get the feel of riding without cars around, then sell it for about 2K.

My opinion might be tainted by 30 years of dirt riding, but I think you will learn more about controlling a motorcycle by riding dirt for a little while than you'll learn in years of commuting. Makes for a much faster learning curve, IMO...
