Which Bike to Go With??

Well ive decided im going to buy a crotchrocket before this summer and I have narrowed it down between two bikes. Either getting a 2007 Yamaha YZF-R6 or a 2007 Honda CBR600RR. This will be my first bike so I have no need for anything bigger than a 600cc motor. I LOVE the look of the yamaha and I have driven both bikes and they feel about the same to me as far as handeling etc goes( i couldnt tell much of a difference atleast). Either way i go it will be black on black color, and I do not plan on doing much ,if any modification to the bike. I dont have any plans of racing or stunting it and am going to try and treat it good so it has a decent resale value(i know, everyone ive talked to tells me i will lay it down atleast once). So given these are almost the same price and specs which one would you go with? And for the more experienced riders, which is an overall better bike? Thanks for the input.

if you are worried about falling off, you prbably shouldnt buy a bike //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
No sorry that was in response to Eugenics post about the lesser of two evils, i just forgot to quote it. Im not worried about that, helmets ftw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

u crazy ? buell's are cheaper than hondas and yamahas... the firebolt is like $7000 MSRP... and its 900cc...
Now that i looked they arent as bad as i thought. 900cc bike means higher priced insurance than I would be able to afford though.

Haha, how so? I would imagine it will hurt the same falling off either of them.
If i had to have a ridiculous looking sportbike in that price range i'd probably get a zx600rr. Either way i dont see the point of sticking with a 600, they'll all kill you just as fast.

I'm personally going for a duck.

Im not getting the 600 because im scared to go with a 1000 or something that size, just mainly insurance and the price of the bike itself. I know there are great risks with any motorcycle, but ive wanted one since i was little and can finally afford it along with school and car payments. I like to stay optimistic about it though, and try not to think about the bad stuff that can happen on em. You only live once.

all the 600 sportbikes are basically the same, unless you are racing or have ridden for a really long time. The one you feel most comfortable on is the best choice, and if they both feel the same go for looks. I would personally get a kawi 636.

Buells FTL. NO Power.
