Which battery should I run in my 04 Chevy 2500HD with 3100 watts?

I've got a 2004 Chevy 2500HD running an Orion 2500d and two JL 300/4 amps off of a Kenwood double din in-dash touch screen HU. So I've got around 3100 watts being pulled total.

I have two D34 Optima Yellowtops under the hood right now but I want to replace the one that's going to the system with a larger more reliable battery. I will be keeping the other newer Yellowtop under the hood to use to power the truck. New battery will power the system. Not sure if they're isolated or not but my truck was having trouble starting and I switched the batteries around and now it starts fine. So I'm assuming they're isolated and the one connected to the starting system of my truck was getting weak.

The batteries I'm trying to decide between are the XS Power D3400, and the Kinetic KHC2400.

I'm sure they'd both provide enough power but I wanted to see if any members here on CA.com have experience with the two and would know which one would fit my application better.

Thanks

Saving a couple bucks on the Kinetic battery on Ebay for sure thx for the link! As for buying used batteries off the internet with no warranty, I dunno it just sketches me out. No telling if someone took good care of them or not I've bough equipment before that was supposedly in great condition but once it arrived it was a whole other story.. I'd rather just pay a little more and know that what I'm getting is brand new in the box and is covered by at least some sort of manufacturer's warranty.

I would prob go with the XS out of the two also but my $105 shipped each deka9a31's are still going strong with 2 years of use on them..

Also, those sprinters above are very nice and are stronger then both the xs and hc. They are very stout batts for sure. But I hear u on taking chances on buying used

I'm definitely leaning towards the XS Power D3400. I know it will fit and it's a good price and I haven't found any bad reviews on them at all. The only thing that the XS seems to be lacking compared to the Kinetik 2400 is that it's Amp Hours rating is lower.

XS = 67ah

Kinetik = 128ah

How big of a difference will this really make when the battery is being used for the 2ndary battery only? My Yellowtop only had 55ah before and it did cut out but didn't struggle too bad. All I really looked at before were the CCA's.

The XS battery seems to have so much more wattage than the Kinetic. Not sure if these stats are exaggerated or not but 4000w compared to Kinetic's 2400w is a major difference it seems..

Thanks Basscort2009 but I'm looking to buy a new battery. Not really in the market for anything used..
gotcha. some ppl like to save money i guess. ask anyone that knows about these. they have 10 year lifespan (only 2 years old now) and wont do anything LESS than a brand new one.
