iirc that pg amp is only 100rms at 4ohm, 200 at 2. that 400.1 should show you at least 430 real rms.

Add to that the fact that more than a few amps out of the Octane series showed less than stellar quality control resulting in a rather high premature failure rate and there's really no contest here between that particular PG and the Kicker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

This tested well on youtube - not familiar with the brand but it is a pretty standard china build house amplifier...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
