which amp to use

The prime should be good but im sure you can find a cheaper amp that will power them just as good. I'm not sure though try to get something that can give you 1k-1100rms clean and they'll sound nice. But keep the dubing/bass boost on zero. My advice is to not go over 1100 rms unless you know the power is clean. And I wouldnt exceed 1500 which is what I run mine at with 0db on amp and -4 on hu. Just a heads up a lot of people are going to talk **** about your kickers so don't let it get to you lol

Thx. That what I was thinking. Those kicker subs are only 400 rms and amp is 1200 so I was thinking with that amp I can slightly upgrade in the future if I want. I hear a lot mixed reviews about those kicker subs some say bang for buck others say garbage lol I think their decent for what I'm tryn do lol

then just pick your poison, either of your amp choices are fine, a soundqubed 1200.1D would do great along with an American Bass VFL4480.1D, both are in that price range too.

if you need a cheaper alternative, theres always hifonics, mbquart, ppi and RE audio budget powered amps, with these amps you'd normally want to shoot 400 rms over your desired rms figures, so aim for a 1600 watts rms amp if you going budget power.

Lol im pretty sure the brutus can do 1200 clean at 1Ohm. I know a guy who was ******* 1400 out of one with an re xxx18

I don't know how many cubic feet my box is how do I measure it and if not where a good place to find one cheap
Is it the 07 cvr kicker side ported box? if so that is only about 3.75 cubic feet which isn't too bad but you lose a lot of output since its a side tube port. I cant exactly remember how to go about the measurements I think its something like multiply length x width x height then divide it by 1728. But ask around on here you should be able to find someone who can make you 1.If you get a good enclosure you can give them subs more power and they will sound a hell of a lot better. Right now I'm runnin mine in a 4.7 cubic foot slot ported box at 1500 rms. By mine I mean 2 12" kicker CVRs
