which amp? kicker or hifonics?

if you plan to use the KX12001 now, you need dual 4's for a final one ohm, If you use one per woofer later, you need dual 2's...something to ponder.

Would two strapped kx12001 run at 1 ohm instead of two? That way he could ru at 1 now and strap later

I'm pretty sure if you strapped them you would need to run it at 2 ohms at the amp.

2 15 l7s ported. whichever one i get will only be temporary as i will buy another of the same later on to hook up each one to a 1 ohm load. the kicker will make around 1400 at 1 ohm versus the ~1700 the 2006d will put out. but the kicker is strappable.

as far as quality goes, you guys are saying the kicker will sound better?

you're going to get more than 1700 out of that amp. At least 1800 i'd say more than likely closer to 1900

O... and from what I understand if the refurbished stuff comes with a warranty it is probably going to be better. When it was repaired by kicker a real person probably spent a lot longer with that amp than the time spent with a brand new one. Besides if you ever send a new one in for warranty they will likely send you a refurb replacement. Get the kicker.
