Hey im putting together a system for my cousin and im trying to decide which amp to run, the amp will push 6 12" L5's sealed in a trunked car. Yea i know?????????? He just wants something rediculously loud and trunk rattling so i figured this would do the job. O yea and this will be a hood car but upgrades will be taken place for the charging system.

So the chooses are RF t40001bd or memphis MCD4KW

Im personally leaning towards the RF because ive hears so much good things about this amp and its technology is superior to any other, i guess. Just want peoples opinion any suggestions are welcome

thanks

The Rockford gets my vote. SQ is very nice and power comes in spades on the t4000. You can link multiple amps and control them all with a single bass knob. May not be an important feature now, but if his system plans ever grow, he will appreciate that feature big time with a larger set-up.

Solid amps for the money.

Either would work 1000%.

I think the Memphis is sexier, but it boils down to whichever fits space-wise, and perhaps price difference for you.

Just my $0.02

The RF is a good amp, but i would take a memphis 4kw anyday, they will go down in lower ohms, and produces very good tight clean bass!! The 4kw gives ya more options for your system, run it at .5ohms daily, and you will produce more power than the RF could!!
