Let's face a simple truth, this amp does not retail new for $1200. It's expensive. Anywhere you get it for $1200, it will be a refurb, scam, or turn and burn. Could you get it for $1200 and possibly have it work well for a while, yes. Do you want to take a $1200 chance that it may break in a few months, I wouldn't.
You pay for the security of knowing it's an untampered with product that has been properly cared for, but go ahead and roll the dice.

So am i buying new and guranteed not to be DOA, ay warranty still left

Why L5's?

he wanted 6 12's so i figured the l5's would be more suitable in a sealed box, i may be wrong.

L7's should get louder, cvx's would still get loud if not as loud and would take better to the sealed i'm assuming smaller box

L7 vs L5 is, from what I understand, mainly just power handling, not much of a difference.

Those kickers dont like sealed, they're ported beasts

If RE SE's were cheaper, I'd suggest them

yea ive heard they dont like sealed but thats what he wants to run, plus he can get a good deal on them locally so thats the reason he wants the L7 or L5, he just wants an outrageously loud trunked car

Hey, I'm not forcing you to buy from me. If you can find a better price elsewhere and feel secure, then go for it. I don't know the length of warranty on this product, but I am sure it's expired. You could always renew, I'm sure. Aside from that, anything I sell is always guaranteed to not be DOA. Otherwise, I wouldn't sell it.
