Which amp for the sub??

I have the MTX TS55 DVC 2 ohm.

Right now I'm running RF T1000.1bd @ 4ohm, rated at 500w RMS.

Will Memphis 16-PR1.500 (rated at 500w RMS@1ohm) is better option for me - efficiency for my battery/alt and output power. I can get one locally for ~$80 and if its a better option for me, I can sell my RF for ~$200 and get some cash.

You should be fine running 500rms at pretty much any ohm load. So no need to swap amps for that reason. The RF will give ya more options in case ya wanna add subs later.
