Which Amp for Alpine Type-r Comps

Hi I have the new alpine type-r comps 2005 model they are rated at 75w rms and 300w peak i think.

Currently I am using a shark 2 chan amp for them which i got for £40 at the local store its a realy cheap crap amp it says 260w on the front of it but I dont know what the rated power per chanel is.

I was just woundering if getting a new amp would make my type-r's sound louder and better? at the moment they are pretty drowned out by my L7 and start to distort at pretty low volumes.

So I was woundering if someone could recomend a good 2 channel amp for me?

Ive been looking at some of the alpine amps and the ALP-MRPT220 says:

RMS Power (4ohms): 50 W

RMS Power (2ohms): 70 W

So does that mean if i wire it parralel itle will give me 50w per chan and if i wire it bridged itle give me 70w per chan?

If someone could help me choose an amp would be greatly apreciated. Here are a few I have been looking at...

i have those comps too and i hope to also purchase the T220

my friend has the MRV420 running to R's front and rear, it sounds great! dont htink the T220 will disappoint at all

The T220 is a great amp for those speakers. You won't be disappionted.

So gettin the 420 would be a waste of money and they would be just as good and loud with the 220? since It would be nice to save the money but ile splash out for the quality if I have to.
