Which amp do I run for my alpine speakers?

Hi all,
I am purchasing a stereo for my 2 door ute.
I am currently looking at getting alpine R-type 6.5 splits. I am also going to get a alpine powerpack amp to run them and my plan was to get the kta-450 and bridge the channels as I only need 2 speakers but as I recently found out if you bridge the channels it will take it down to 2ohms which the speakers will not run at 2ohms. The amp specs say that they have 4x50watts channels RMS and with their Dynamic Peak Power it will go upto 100watts when needed.
Where the ktp-445u has 4x45watt channels but says if you bridge the channels, 2x90watt channels and still run at 4ohms?

So my question, am I better off running the kta-450 or the ktp-445u with a set of R-65c.2 speakers??
TIA

The KTA-450 specs also say that you can bridge the channels for 4 ohms.
  • 50 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (45 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms)
  • 100 watts RMS x 2 bridged at 4 ohms
Make sure that your speakers are rated to handle the power of the amplifier.
Alpine R-S65C.2 looks like a good choice for the KTA450.

I couldn't find it saying that in the specs? It was quite vague about bridging on the specs that I saw. Could you possibly send me a link to the spec sheet you are looking at?
Much appreciated 🙂

Tbolts.
The speakers are the ones that set the ohm value. If they are 4 ohms, the amp will put out say 30 watts, if they are 2 ohms, the amp will put out 60 watts.
