Which American Bass to go with this amp.

Just picked up the AQ Q1-1200 amp. 870 RMS@2 ohm. Will be running on stock electrical so not looking to do 1 ohm.

Looking at the American Bass 10 inch TNT or XFL (for $10 more) to use with this amp. I'm afraid to run my little Alpine S on this amp. My other thought was to try this NVX-VC104. SQ first SPL second.

what car do you have, with the big 3 and a 90 amp alt you should be ok with 1200 as long as gains are right and other accessorys aren't pulling to much. buddy has a 120 amp alt and a 105 AH AGM batt and he running 800 on his subs and 300 on his speakers with only .2volts of drop

Id go with the xfls ive seen a setup with 2 xfls and a aq 2200d and it was loud as hell. Ive never heard a tnt in person thoe.

dont be scared go for 2 xfl d4 and run that amp to 1 ohm, then later on upgrade your amp to the aq 2200 and those 2 xfl will still be able to handle the 2k amp

Fixed. The xfl will take the power of that amp alone. Just do the big 3 Should be fine then

Yeah I have a 150 stock alt on my lil ole Ford Focus. Running one AT Strato at 500 rms 2 ohms and my lights dim. I think it's because Im running 8 gauge wire to a 4 gauge amp lol ;/

yeah Im getting KnuConceptz 4 gauge OFC amp kit and the Audio Technix 4 gauge big 3 kit.

and Im looking at getting either 1 12" XFL in a 2.5cf ported box on 900 RMS, or 2 12 AB Tnt's/SQ 12" 2.5s in a 2.5cf sealed box on probably about 1.1k RMS

got about a month to make my final car audio decisions before I start doing performance mods. So many choices!

the xfl 12 in a 2.2 cubic ft box tuned at 33 hertz will be loud ,but will want much more than 800 rms 1500 rms would be deal

What you fixed doesnt make sense. He cant run 2 d2 subs and get 1 ohm at the amp.

i think he forgot to change the 2 to a 1 lol

and yeah I think Im gonna go with the one XFL D2 and wire it to 1 ohm. and give it like 1300 rms via the ppi black ice 1300
